Project sent, on to the next!

It’s a special feeling to send certain projects and this route made me especially satisfied. ”Kosmos Kid” 7c+ at Dyviksudde in Stockholm has been a dream for me and I still remember feeling so weak when I first tried it a couple of years back. I worked on it for a short time back in 2011 and then let it go for two years and gave my all to bouldering. This fall when I returned after a full year of gaining my finger-strength and training more systematic it felt a lot easier and I started redpointing. It took me four days this time, around 2-4 tries every session so it wasn’t an easy pick, but it also feels like I can do harder and that’s a inspiring feeling!

I want to thank everyone who has been cheering me on, belaying me and supporting me. I never take this for granted. Especially my husband Stefan Wulf who has put up with some emotional outbursts when I fell off or just had a tiring day on the route. Looking forward to starting something new and also to start bouldering a bit more through the dark months.. The winter is coming on fast and it’s getting very cold to climb outside but if there is time I hope to get started working on ”Holidays in Eden” 7c+ at Dödskalleberget.

But first I will celebrate by visiting a massage therapist! Long hours at work and training hard takes its toll..
