Linda is toproping ”Kosmos Kid” 7c+ to figure out the hard sequence at the top. It’s very technical as well as superphysical; you have to keep the body tense and for me the trick was to hold my breath almost throughout the whole crux so that I knew that my tension was stabile all the way. This technique is actually often the thing that has made the difference on most of my projects where the hard part is to stay rock solid through demanding moves. Just like when doing a deadlift or a focused yoga position, the breath can often be the most important link between your upper body and your feet. When preparing for a hard move, next time try to fill your belly and chest with a decisive and deep breath feeling your core tensing up; then go for the next hold!
